Settlers Park Meridian ID is a wonderful place for kids and adults to enjoy a day of play. This park has everything from water toys to a disc golf course. It even hosts a movie night each Friday in the summer!

Water Park

A stroll through the tree-lined streets of downtown Meridian is a delight to behold. This endearing area is a vibrant and welcoming destination filled with restaurants, shops, and the flowery Generations Plaza. The area also boasts a classy movie theater and a bowling center.

Every Friday through August, the park plays a free movie at sunset. You can bring blankets and low-backed chairs for front-row seating. However, you should arrive early to get a good spot. This is a popular event. Also, be sure to bring your sunscreen and bug spray!

Playgrounds

Families looking for ways to entertain and relax in their new home in Meridian will love this huge park that is designed to accommodate everyone. It has eight ball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, a disc golf course, walking and biking paths, and a fishing pond.

This large Meridian park is also host to a free movie night each Friday evening during the summer. The community can gather in a fenced-off area and sit on picnic blankets or camping chairs to watch films for all ages on an inflatable screen.

However, parents are advised not to drop off children at the event without a parent or guardian. Attendees with disruptive behavior may be asked to leave. The park will have increased security and staffing on Friday evenings this summer. A wonderful place to also visit is Barber Park.

Disc Golf Course

With top public schools, low crime rates, and owner-occupied single-family homes, the Settlers Park neighborhood has that classic Leave it to Beaver feel. The neighborhood also has a lot of families, which creates a strong sense of community among residents.

One thing that makes the neighborhood particularly special is its linguistic diversity. The area is home to 0.7% of residents who speak Urdu as their primary language, which is higher than the national average of 0.1%.

The Settlers Park neighborhood has a real estate vacancy rate of zero, which is a sign of its high demand. The area has a large selection of newer homes, with residences built in 2000 and later making up the majority of the residential real estate landscape.

In the summer, Settlers Park has a splash pad, and every Friday night during the summer, they host family movie nights. Families can sit outside in camping chairs and picnic blankets to watch a film for kids of all ages.

It is unlawful to cut, injure or deface trees on City Park property. Pets are not allowed in the park except for those at Storey Dog Park and Discovery Bark Park and must be leashed at all times.
