Beach Entry

Located on 7th Street North inside Lakeview Park is the family-oriented Lakeview Water Park. Featuring a beach entry, water spray features, and a two-story slide, this pool will provide hours of fun for the whole family.

Another free summer activity in Nampa is the hiking trails at Lake Lowell Park. Whether you’re looking for a quick hike or a longer excursion, this park has something to offer everyone. It is also a great place for picnicking and fishing.

Dog owners can enjoy a safe, off-leash space to walk their furry friends at Nampa’s Amity Dog Park, which opened in 2009. The park also hosts the annual Pooch Party Stroll & Splash event.

The Nampa Parks and Recreation Department is implementing new processes this summer to help keep the community safe. These changes will be implemented at Lincoln Pool and Lakeview Water Park to help educate the public on how to be safe around all types of water locations.

Two-Story Slide

For outdoor enthusiasts, Nampa’s parks and recreation department maintains 27 public spaces. Those who love to hike will enjoy the Kingfisher Trail, which is a 7-and-a-half-mile moderate trail. For those who prefer golf, there are three options in Nampa. The 18-hole Centennial and Ridgecrest Golf Clubs and RedHawk Public Golf Course are all operated by the Parks and Recreation Department.

There’s also a nice public pool with a two-story slide. And, the Lakeview Water Park has a beach-style entry and a number of water spray features for kids to enjoy. Plus, there are plenty of open areas where sports fans can play basketball, tennis, and baseball. The Park also features a rose garden and historic displays. 

Family Fun
